Through Community Research
Imperial Tobacco
Need
Imperial Tobacco was in search for new insights and consumer needs in relation to one of their cigarette brands.
Approach
By intensive recruitment we selected a creative group of 71 people in a customized & dedicated online community, with quantitative and qualitative elements. We emphasized on the visual aspect of new ideas and insights. To make sure that the internal organization of Imperial Tobacco had close contact with the community, a consultant of Redesignme was on location for 1 day per week during the whole project.
Results
In 4 weeks, over 1.400 entries were submitted on the forum and challenges. More than 85% of the participants had really positive experiences with this new type of research compared to regular research. -

Through Ideations for Facebook
Extrema
Need
Extrema is a Dutch festival organizer. For Extrema Outdoor they wanted to engage their Facebook fans and connect with more potential fans.
Approach
Together with Extrema we came up with a creative challenge in relation to the overall theme of their event; “Sharing Secrets”. By sharing photos and ideas fans could participate in the challenge and win VIP tickets. Fans could easily share their entries with their own social circle. Extrema promoted the challenge throughout their own media channels.
Results
During the challenge on their Facebook page, 8.800 new fans joined the fan team of Extrema and it gave the ticket sale a strong boost. -
126 innovative lounge concepts
Through Redesignme Connect & Live!
Schiphol
Need
Schiphol Airport was in search for fresh insights and inspiration for the redesign of one of their passenger terminals. Per year, 22,5 million passengers pass by this terminal before they start boarding.
Approach
The proces was devided into two phases; a crowdsourcing phase on Redesignme Connect and a offline co-creation session phase via Redesignme Live!. The first phase was intended to generate as much ideas as possible. During the second phase these ideas and insights were analyzed, categorised and finally bundled into total concepts.
Results
In the end 16.000 unique visitors read the challenge of which 10% came via schiphol.nl and Schiphols mobile app. 126 concepts were submitted and in the co-creation sessions, they were combined into 5 total concepts. -

Through Crowdsourcing
Pickwick
Need
The Dutch tea brand Pickwick wanted to gather insights from consumers about their experience in relation to tea drinking and ask them to come up with innovative new tea-related products.
Approach
Together with Pickwick we decided to use our creative crowdsourcing network; Redesignme Connect. By bringing all the creative individuals together in an online environment a lot of ideas can be gathered in a short amount of time. Our consultants supported Pickwick with managing the community.
Results
122 members, submitted 198 concepts and 457 comments. The challenge produced a lot of strong ideas and also some great publicity; 30.000 unique visitors saw the challenge of Pickwick on Redesignme Connect.
