It comes with the house, you are baffled for it for the first week after moving in, then you gradually learn how to use it. They could have labelled it with instructions, but that would have been unnecessary visual clutter. Lightswitches don't have labels on them to tell you what lights they're for; you just get to know them. This is the same.
