By Redesigner: kreutzer Placed on: 2008-07-31 11:41:08 the problem is the miniaturized sliding button with too many options. The user needs to be very precise and needs to watch closely if the slider is in the correct position. Suggestion is to revert to a rotating knob rather than a sliding button. The button used in modern cars (BMW, Renault) to operate the navigation device serves as a good example. Tivoli is a good example too. Succes with applying sense and simplicity!
