When the first fails , go silent, try again later. The second can be mesured by response time and force used to press the snooze button. Future behavour should be based on these variables. If all wakeup try's fail... a There is no person in the room b The person is not able to rise and should sleep anyway"

Another idea would be to have a progressive backoff cycle like this: 1. Ring for 1 minute 2. turn off for 1 minute 3. ring again for 1 minute at louder volume 4. turn off for 2 minutes 5. ring again for 1 minute at louder volume 6. turn off for 4 minutes and then turn off for the day after 15 to 20 min"
