Mini Cooper Radio Volume Control by Mini

By Redesigner: robtannen Placed on: 2007-08-11 00:00:00 While the unique design of the Mini interior is refreshing and fun, I had a lot of trouble finding one of the most basic controls - the radio volume control. While all of the other radio controls are housed in the lower half of the large center circular console display, the volume knob is quite a distance away - hidden between the CD player and the A/C controls. Particularly difficult for a tall person to see with such a steep visual angle. The volume control also serves as the on/off function for the sound system, which although common, was not evident in this design either.

Cheap Asian and off-shore products now that deminish the nature of our countries products - likely it's smothered in lead paint and made to last up to and including the last day of warranty. We need to get away from this non- sustainable asian crap that fills up our landfills and reduces us to being souls that search for the cheapest stuff around and ruins our local economy. I say not to cheap off-shore crap and we should tell manufacturers that we don't want this any more - quality at a price not cheap at a massive profit and purely non-environmental. Make a statement!" reply
