The human population is getting older and older by the day. But more elderly people also means more care. Care that we people sometimes can't give. Elderly people are also often victims of crime, abuse and are neglected. And when these crimes take place, there is usually no time for the elderly to shout or call for help.

With this necklace containing a small alarm system, they can call for help. Pushing the emergency button on the necklace will set off a alarm signal to the Cat-iq. This alarm is a silent alarm, the attacker does not notified anything. At that moment the cat-iq sends a signal to the emergency centre. This can be by phone or by gps system, so they can locate the victim.

The gps system also can be used by family of people with alzheimer's disease, so they can locate there relative. By addething gps and a color screen to the Cat-iq, it makes it easeyer to locate the missing person.

You can also fit in a sensor for dehydration, elderly people lose the sens of thirst, so when they don't drink enough, the necklace will send a signal to the CAT-IQ.

The necklace also contains the persons medical file, so when there is something wrong and the person needs medical help but for some reason can not tell whats wrong, than the medical file can be used from the necklace simple by bluetooth connection.
