I propose a software program and the addition of some extra buttons or other entry methods for people who need to take a pill or other medicine at a certain time or frequency. The CAT-iq is preferrably equiped with one or more push buttons. If you push a specific button the CAT-iq will translate that as that you take a pill. If you do not push a specific button in time, the CAT-iq will first use the DECT intercom system to warn you (simple beep combination will do). If you do not respond after that, it will call your GSM. If you do not answer your GSM it will send an SMS to your GSM. If you do not respond to that warning either it may call your GP or another person which you have pre-programmed.I have designed a pill box with a sphere which has for different coloured buttons and which can be placed on top of the pillbox. The sphere will sense that it is lifted from the pill box with an electronic sensor.
