This redesign is for adding multiple cat-iq devices in one household and enabling safe communication in between these devices in an easy way. Thus adding intercom and call forwarding functionality.Pairing devices with codes and screens can be a difficult task, especially for the elderly. Adding a cheap close range (less then 1 meter) rfid wireless connection makes it possible to pair the devices by placing them closely together and pushing the big button at the same time. When pairing is done the devices can be placed apart in different rooms and dect communication takes over. The pairing process is displayed in the picture.
