A-hive

The name A-hive is of course a play on the term beehive.

"A" is usually the letter denominating the top of something in its class; think A-list. A-grade etc.. The target group are naturally "A-businesses" as they are technological and innovative frontrunners. For further clarity, in the slogan "A" is linked to Advanced:

Advanced banking resources for technologically-Advanced businesses.

(I have deliberated over ""business" or "businesses"; I think the former sounds better, but the latter is perhaps clearer in meaning. Jammer!)

The term A-hive sounds quite unusual at first, but I think it would quickly begin to sound natural with use, whilst at the same time standing out.

A hive seems a reasonable noun to describe the "team of banking professionals" concerned. Quote: "A honeybee hive is far more than just a buzz of activity. In fact, the social organization inside a nest rivals that in the best-run corporations." A hive is also a source and deposit of honey with which parallels could be made to finance. Another slogan I considered was:

Honey for technology (...& honey coincidentally sounds like money)

...which leads me to the graphic, as the honeycomb within the ABN-AMRO logo also looks a bit like money. I quite like this lucky honey-money connection; the honeycomb is also kind of flowing out of the logo, into the "techno"-drawing.

I hope the graphic speaks for itself, though it could of course be simplified or altered in many ways.
