If they kept the same outside, and put the block a little more downwards (in the middle) having every "pin" 2 times as shown in the picture, you would only have to keep in mind horizontal or vertical orientation but i guess that won't be hard, eventualy they can even make a square plug, having 4 connections (other picture) , round plugs would need some kind of orientation though (maybe done by a squaredcone thingy, which orientate the plug when plugging it in also having 4 connections per "line", make the outer shell loose fitted for extra comfort..)
